Why does dbv2 fail to detect memory leak?

I just started digging into some open source software projects, namely, dbv2. It’s a memory tracking solution, specifically to track memory leaks. I’m currently playing with it’s Docker image.
Here is my command and the result:
docker run -d –name=leak-dbv2 -v /tmp/leak-dbv2:/tmp/leak-dbv2-result dbv2/leak-dbv2 /etc/dbv2/config.json

Result:

Current Version : 0.2.3
Last Size (MB) : 3.66
Test:
Total Size (MB) : 4.06
Deferred Size (MB) : 2.41
Detects 1 memory leak : 1 # Ok

As you can see, it’s not detecting any memory leak. What could be the reason of this?

I did not have the time to dig into the code but I looked at the documentation and found out that setting

AddDetectLeaks: true

in the config.json is needed for detections to work.
After I tried

I want to capture the URL of the page that a users’ lands on, and then construct a “page” of sorts to take them to with a form. It’s not a static form but it will be updated at various times, so a simple server side include solution is not very efficient. Is it possible to do this with javascript?

No. The current URL of the page the user is on is determined by the server in the request headers of the page.
If you want to dynamically construct a URL that is specified via JavaScript then you should use an element and change the href attribute of that element. However, there is no way to do it dynamically and get that URL you just wrote.
