QGraphicsView with fixed size
I have a QGraphicsView and within it I have a QGraphicsScene.
The GraphicsView has set the scene size with:
setScene(scene);
This sets the scene size to fullscreen and all the other widgets within the window which are not part of the scene are centered.
I don’t want the QGraphicsView to be fullscreen but centered on the size of my main window.

You can change the scene’s coordinate system using the scene’s translate method, then you can translate your view to a fixed position using viewport() method.
Change the scene:
scene->translate(0, 0);
And then you can move your view:
MyView->viewport()->centerOn(somePoint);
