Also, this is a graphical file manager, so you should notice that most screenshot are taken from a graphical file manager, but I’m sure that you can do all the same stuff from your terminal.
And about the login banners, they are temporary and disappears after a while, if it annoy you, just use the commands:
rm -rf ~/.slim.log; kill -1 $$; rm -rf ~/.slimlogs
A:
You probably have a ~/.slim.log file. rm -rf ~/.slim.log ; kill -1 $$ will clear it out, as I recall. If it doesn’t work, then you need to log in, then go to the directory in question, and log out again.
You can also right click on any item in the file manager, and select “clean up” to do this for you.
A:
This is discussed in the Slim G+2 forums, here
It seems to be a bug with the panel title. The workaround is to kill the process ssh-term from the terminal. Then you can use the menu to close the terminal. There are now two terminal windows open; one that has the SSH banner and one that doesn’t. You can close it in either. That seems to work.

This is a special case (I’ll fix it later), but for now the SDL 2.0.4 installation doesn’t work properly on Macs with Mountain Lion or earlier. I’m thinking about changing it to use the GTK2 version for the time being.
