Autodesk released AutoCAD in 1986 for personal computers running MS-DOS. To be able to run Autodesk’s AutoCAD software, the user had to purchase a copy of MS-DOS or compatible OS, including IBM PC DOS, PC DOS, MS-DOS 3.3, MS-DOS 4.0, and Windows 3.0. Then, the Autodesk AutoCAD installer needed to be installed on the computer.

AutoCAD 2016 introduced and combined the tools and features of AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Map 3D. AutoCAD 2016’s new features are directed at professionals in architectural design, electrical design, civil engineering, and land surveying.

User interface

The AutoCAD product line started with a GUI that was developed as a personal computer application. However, starting in the 1990s, Autodesk introduced the use of an electronic drafting table (EDT) as a standard desktop workstation, replacing paper sheets as the primary medium for drafting. On desktop computers, the primary AutoCAD user interface (UI) is that provided by the application. AutoCAD LT is an AutoCAD program for the AutoCAD LT workgroup. AutoCAD LT is intended for desktop computers, and provides a simplified UI and a subset of the functionality of AutoCAD. On tablets and mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, the UI is provided by an add-on application for the device.

I am using android studio, and I have implemented the interface, however I am unsure on how to code. Can someone please help me. Thank you.
