MISSION
South Florida Fashion Academy has the distinct mission to educate, inspire and illuminate an intense desire to optimize the creative minds of students seeking a career in the Arts, Business, Fashion, and Beauty Industries. Students will receive an innovative quality education, resources, practical skills and the confidence to be a leading professional.
VISION
South Florida Fashion Academy will prepare students for professional excellence in Art, Business, Fashion and Beauty through rigorous and adaptable academic programs, experiential learning and ingenious partnerships.
South Florida Fashion Academy will be globally celebrated as the institution where students and instructors transcend traditional margins to stimulate leading edge innovations. South Florida Fashion Academy employs experienced Professional Artists worldwide to develop contemporary concepts and to remain knowledgeable of cutting- edge training. Students will receive instruction on how to become proficient in the Arts, Business, Fashion, and Beauty industries with a strong focus on excelling in all necessary required academic areas mandated by the state. South Florida Fashion Academy fosters creativity and career focus while educating its students to embrace inclusiveness, sustainability and a sense of community. Programs are designed for high school students to enter their post- secondary option with advanced knowledge or the ability to infiltrate the preferred industry having entrepreneurial skills.
By focusing on three major goals, South Florida Fashion Academy will remain stronger by conscious design and be known as a strategic institution—one that births a new generation of Artists eager to bring forth groundbreaking trends, products and innovations.

South Florida Fashion Academy will build and maintain an inclusive community in which students engage with, learn from, and inspire each other—discovering how their differences and similarities promote creativity, intellectual and personal growth, and understanding. Essentially formulating the foundational skills necessary to become efficient in the workforce and/ or life.

FACULTY AND STAFF MEMBERS
Our faculty and staff consist of experienced, knowledgeable, innovative and talented individuals.The success of South Florida Fashion Academy is a direct result of our distinguished culture that values diversity of thought and people, groundbreaking educational opportunities for our students, encouraging an inclusive environment of unrivaled creativity, innovation and integrity in everything we do. South Florida Fashion Academy’s teachers have a Bachelors degree or higher, over three years of teaching experience, special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects and business, fashion, or beauty.
Embracing full-time ministry, Karine Melissa accepted the role as Executive Director of a local non-profit organization where she served thousands of youth and families by creating and organizing summer camp programs, mentorship programs, after-school programs, family meal services, financial literacy seminars, and leadership trainings. After years of experience collaborating with organizations, Karine Melissa tackled entrepreneurship head-on.
Karine Melissa created Fashion Designers Expo (FDE), a platform that would incubate the dreams and aspirations of emerging fashion industry icons. FDE has been featured in ELLE Spain and has opened doors for Karine Melissa including her current position in the World Fashion Organization® as the President for U.S.A World Fashion Brands & Merchandising Group, Inc. and on the World Fashion Week International Committee. As a leader in the industry, Karine Melissa has been featured in several publications to include Voyage Miami, Shout Out Miami, Sun Sentinel, Miami New Times, Legacy Magazine, and Brickell Key Magazine.
Karine Melissa has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Organizational Leadership at Trinity International University, a Fashion Merchandising Diploma at Ashworth University, a Master of Business Management at University of Phoenix, a Biblical Counseling Diploma at Light University, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Phoenix as she pursues a Doctorate in Organizational Management and Leadership (DM).
For over twenty-five years, Karine Melissa has poured her heart into women and youth through ministries and programs that serve her community. Karine Melissa continues to serve her community and press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling.Karine Melissa
