History
AutoCAD Free Download is the result of a joint venture between Steve Jobs and the American architect Charles Pritikin. The first version of AutoCAD Torrent Download was first released on December 22, 1982 on an Apple II computer system by Pritikin. According to Brian Bagnall, a computer engineering professor at the University of Vermont, Pritikin had developed, but never released, the original CAD software product; Jobs asked Pritikin to produce a simpler CAD program, which led to the development of AutoCAD. Pritikin later admitted that he originally was “very excited” about the project, but that after “watching the software grow into a huge beast with no real understanding of what makes the thing tick,” he decided not to complete AutoCAD.[1]
AutoCAD rapidly became a success. In 1984, it sold 10,000 units. In 1985, it had 20,000 units in sales.[2] In 1986, it was the only popular computer-aided design software application for the Apple Macintosh.[3]
In 1987, Autodesk purchased the rights to the AutoCAD program, and released its first source code as version 3.0. In 1989, it was the only product to achieve the top position in the U.S. best-selling software category.
The name AutoCAD was the result of a legal dispute between the software company and the architecture and engineering firm Pritikin. They had jointly developed the program under the name “Pritikin-Jobs AutoCAD,” and the architecture firm intended to use the name when it released the software. However, the software company wanted to make AutoCAD its sole product, using the name “AutoCAD”, and eventually succeeded in so doing.

Import and Export
The Import and Export functions are designed for simple import or export of a file, preferably a CAD file. These are used as a temporary solution to a user issue or a modification of an existing drawing. CAD files are not reusable and this function is only meant for using a CAD file as a workaround. To achieve this feature, a user must have a valid license of AutoCAD.
The simplest import and export includes the import of DWG or DXF files, which can be accomplished using a few simple prompts. These prompts are usually case-sensitive, but no guarantee is given about the case of the imported file. The use of import and export is discouraged.
