AutoCAD 2020 adds “simple marks” as an alternative to “complete marks.” Choose between the “Simple Marks” option to create complete marks only if you want to change the marks and “Markup Assist” to create complete marks.
“Complete Marks” give AutoCAD the ability to change the marks without first saving the drawing. This is useful if you are sending a design for review.
Blend Markers:
AutoCAD 2023 adds markers that blend with the object they’re on.
When you create a new marker, you can choose “Blend,” “Superimpose,” or “No Mark.” The marker will only apply to the current drawing session.
Markers are automatically superimposed on top of their corresponding objects.
Markup Assist and Markup Assist Edits:
Now you can create “complete marks” for a design that is already on paper or PDF and then edit them with editing tools. You can also edit existing complete marks, and you can apply edits directly to the marks.
Choose “Markup Assist” from the “File” menu, or choose “Import or Apply Markup” on the Markup toolbar.
