Well, this update is double-duty! Not only does it make the last stage of the game immune from the thing that always freezes later in the game, but it fixes the mess in the database created by the BFG Edition fixer 1.0. The only thing it did not a work around for was the Spline 1 hack in the beginning of the covenants, as it’s almost impossible to get into.And the monsters and textures are all fixed, their spacing is back to correct, and a new version of the cloth material was included, so you no longer get the proper spider web cloth texture in the basement. There are however some limitations to it’s use: namely, monsters on tripwires, doors, and ceilings, so you can’t hide all the way up when you’re doing a hack, until there are roomaxis for the tripwires.
I will be releasing a new version in a couple of days, it has a few bug fixes, and the textures are reworked, so while it is a mess, it is most certainly solid.New World is working very well, the quests and all that are fully working, but it seems that the Green Dragon event, which requires it’s own event, doesn’t work properly, so I am fixing that as well.The final version may be a bit bugged, but if it’s not, I will release it as that.
As of this moment, everything works! 2 worlds, 6 guns, 3 sub-weapons, pre-apocalypse clothing, and the ice pack that rescues you from the Orrery. All 16 covenants available, except for their respective rides. It was kinda weird, the metal stairs weren’t in the event, then the SD texture wasn’t there. I recreated all of them.
