This program will provide creatives the opportunity to tour factories that highlight textile, apparel, leather technology, garment / footwear design and much more. Creatives will learn how to take a fashion technology idea from prototype to finished product through experimentation, iteration, and some simple coding. Emphasis will be on the technical aspects and the basics of electricity, materials, microcontrollers (small computers), sensors/actuators, and the code that makes these things work together to create expressive projects.
