SCHOLARSHIPS

At South Florida Fashion Academy, private and state funded scholarships are available to cover students tuition costs. Scholarships are competitively awarded to applicants that meet all enrollment requirements. Students can independently seek scholarships or ask an Admissions Representative for assistance by emailing [email protected]. Please contact SF/FA with questions about individual scholarship qualifications. The number of available scholarships awarded on behalf of South Florida Fashion Academy are limited.
South Florida Fashion Academy's founder/executive director, Taj McGill, also awards annual scholarships to select students under The John and Marie McGill Scholarship, which was created in 2022 is in honor of McGill’s parents. These special scholarships are often awarded to high school students gearing up to graduate and start their own cosmetology, beauty, nail technology or fashion company and offer starting capital to launch their business. Scholarships are available in $5,000, $7,000 and $10,000 on an annual basis and are limited based on select qualifications. South Florida Fashion Academy is committed to building a socio-economically diverse student body by providing these special scholarships to passionate and hard working students ready to venture out into business entrepreneurship.
Additionally, Step Up for Students Scholarship Program managed by the State of Florida provides on average $8,000 annually for students K-12 via the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program, Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program, Gardiner Scholarship and Hope Scholarship Program.
