The objective of this program is to produce stand out Barbers in conjunction with an accredited Department of Education post- secondary technical school that will be identified for precise artistic competence, attention to detail, trend forecasting capabilities, and knowledge of multiple aspects of the hair industry. This comprehensive program will provide students with the proper training in clipper and sheer cutting, coloring, hair styling, shaving, modern fades, innovative techniques, hot towel application and hair sculpting. Students will learn to style and care for all hair textures and be at the forefront of leading technology. Upon completion of this program students will execute proper safety and sanitation procedures. South Florida Fashion Academy’s cutting- edge curriculum prepares Graduates for entrepreneurship, the development of a product and/ or brand, entry level Barber employment and knowledge to operate a successful barber shop upon the successful completion of our dual enrollment program. Once students complete this program a diploma of Barbering will be awarded and eligibility to take the state board exam will be granted for licensing.
