The objective of this program is to prepare students for entry- level Fashion Merchandising positions in conjunction with an accredited Department of Education post- secondary institution of higher learning. Students will acquire a basic knowledge of textiles, the Fashion Industry, clothing construction, display and visual merchandising. South Florida Fashion Academy’s intense and hands-on curriculum will equip students with education in fashion related business management, advertising and fashion illustration. Students will learn about consumer behavior as it applies to design and market research, the impact of globalization on the Fashion Industry, and how to analyze retail management theories and techniques. Once students complete this program an Associate degree in Fashion Merchandising will be awarded.
