Toucan spiders do not cache, and their log is only used when a spider crashes or stops working. A spider won’t remember where it placed files, but it will remember where it last placed them. I like the look of this so far. I’ve been using Backup Now for three years. It’s my favorite tool. It may work as a drop in replacement for my Backup Now (MOSS) plug in, but I haven’t had time to test it thoroughly.
First of all, the installation is very easy.
It’s an.exe file in a tarball, so just extract it to where you want.
Each job is represented by a folder, and there are very few options, even once you’ve made your first selection. For example, we can apply the same settings to multiple jobs.
For those who are curious, each job has a history of saved settings and jobs that have already been run.
Here are three screenshots of different jobs. It’s easy to set everything, which results in a well-organized interface that’s very easy to use.

I just discovered this and installed it, it works very well. In fact is pretty much what I was looking for, I never really needed a backup till now, mainly because I did not fully understand how it worked, I just wanted something that would back up my files. This does the job and it is very easy to use.
