Monjarmageddon: Bitch-smash General Communism! is an arcade inspired platformer with a good mix of challenge and gratuitously heavy puns. The game sets out to destroy communism once and for all, while battling with bees, princesses, lesbians and other shit. Use your nun-fu to get rid of these monsters in order to reach the exit gate at the very end of each level. You’ll have to practice with your platforming skills and brain to solve puzzles and obstacles, though don’t worry, the game doesn’t test your brainpower. If it seems like a long time to reach the exit, that’s just because it is, but you’ll be a happy nun after you beat this game!
Controversial themes: Monjarmageddon features a number of games that are so much more than games. It’s a challenge, a work of art, a satire on religion and society, a political statement that flies in the face of the establishment and an exploration of the world around us. It’s a game for everyone, and everyone can enjoy it.

About the gameSIN, the game industry’s biggest anti-tobacco company, announced that all virtual world operators will be required to remove tobacco products from their virtual world environments, effective immediately.Operators have been encouraged to help their customers choose to stay tobacco free by providing tobacco free versions of all of the products currently available for sale in their virtual world environments, and to continue to work towards an environment free of tobacco.Several virtual worlds have already announced their tobacco free status for the foreseeable future: Avatars of only innocent kids, noobs or anything of the sort will be unaffected. In addition to tobacco, SIN had been looking into alternative products that don’t come from food animals, but in order to be thoroughly effective, the virtual reality environment will not be capable of being observed by any external viewer.Bizarrenow, the highly dedicated activists at SIN have developed a brand new “tax” product that will make sure to charge all tobacco products with that additional bit of magic that adds flavour to their toxic product. All tobacco products will have to pay a “tax” of 5000 parts per milion of nano-molecules.Virtual World Operators, who are attempting to launch anti-smoking commercials of SIN products in their virtual world environments, will need to change their name to the slightly less copyrighted world name: “Fancy n’ Smell”.Read the official press release from SIN about tobacco tax:

Medal of Valor were formed by two people who had already worked together as Flogging Molly, Alex Bodnar and Adam Young. They left Flogging Molly to focus on their other project, and after going through a bunch of musical directions, they came out with a softer sound, drawing inspiration from the music of acts such as Bon Iver, The Shins, and Juliana Hatfield. The band’s debut album “Vomitorium” was released in August 2009, and at the same time, their official website was launched.
“In the Black” is the band’s second album, and was released on March 9th, 2011. The first single from the album was “Contradiction,” and it was featured in the official trailer of “Valley Uprising,” a movie about the environmental fight in the Mojave Desert, directed by filmmaker Aaron Katz

Jesus Christ has finally returned.
Exploiting the strangest and most foul of all failing first-person shooters – space-age-adventure shooters – are not a new thing, and some of them have nothing on Monjarmageddon. Developer Lazy Mephyst walks a line between the two genres, producing a near-perfect game that overcomes the first-person shooter’s shortcomings through a combination of tongue in cheek homages and genuinely impressive in-game physics. It’s a browser game, and while that’s not a problem, the game’s weirdness extends well past the form of the website’s HTML: a 2D pixel-art spaceship sim with a surreal sci-fi aesthetic, it was initially released as a tech demo just a couple of years ago.
The first thing you notice is that you can’t really get inside of anything, simply hovering around its edges and firing lasers from as far as I can tell. You don’t move, and the spaceship mostly stays in one place. The game puts just enough of a futuristic twist on this that it’s harder than you’d expect, but the scarcity is what makes it work. Vehicles are limited to a single weapon, and jumping is an issue, as you’re likely to meet the beginnings of gravitational well instead. They’re literally ships and turrets, and it feels like it. There are nine bosses, and figuring out their patterns takes a bit of patience and the act of actually observing each difficult manoeuvre being performed.
The bosses are faceless Monjars – a races of the worst sort of space-fouling humans that honestly justify Monjarmageddon’s name. Idiosyncratic traps reside in the level design and the ships, which are good enough they’re worth paying attention to. Some of them are just pure idiocy, like giant telescopic drills burrowing into the stage and swallowing up your ship. Others simply have the developers’ delightfully subtle humor shining through, like a ball rolling down an inclined plane and ejecting enemies out of the way to make space for it. Every stage has a distinct aesthetic to it, keeping it fresh without ever feeling repetitive.
The combination of lovely level design and clever design resources combined with an engine that hits me between the eyes make Monjarmageddon a game that really stands out. It’s games
