there are 3 downloading methods of the atheros wifi driver. they can all be found below. you need to put the file into your downloads folder in filezilla. once you have copied the file there, right click on the file and select open & send to program. in the program box, select your downloads folder and choose the option open. then open the file you just downloaded, and click upload. if you are using internet explorer, navigate to and set your downloads folder by clicking tools, browse for folder.
– right click the atheros\ar9271_32bit_v9.2.0.467.exe file and select open. windows will look for programs to open this file type. choose the option open, and the file will be opened and the driver will be installed automatically.
hello, i am running windows 10 64bit, and have an atheros card that is “unknown” (qualcomm atheros unknown atheros device). in windows 8.1 with the same machine, i have no issues. i have tried updating the driver using the methods below. the final attempt did not work. the error on the attempt was driver is not found for printer. i found the manufacturer and added the driver, but it still would not work. the driver i selected is the atheros ar8152_uw_ar71xx_2.0.250. may you point me in the right direction.
