[FSX P3D] JustSim – Barcelona LEBL V1.2 Update
This airport is true LEBL beauty, with a little design of a Spanish block type pattern to the terminal. So, that was the BSRC terminal building and the original name before the construction of this great structure, but it’s not the one in P3D. However, the one here was very well detailed and accurate to the original. The new arrival information sign looks really good and has a very unique, creative looking design.
A little of the wind generators could look a little odd, but this is expected from a LEBL airport. It’s a great improvement from the old ones in FSX, which did not look like any buildings at all. However, the one thing that is pretty disappointing here is the air traffic control tower, as it looks like a hopper on top. The controller counter is not very big, and it’s a little disappointing, but not that bad.
The runway alert system also looks a little odd, but nothing to worry about. Something of note here is that you can try out the ATC system as well if you wish, which is another great feature for LEBL airports. You can start out in a simple one, and you can progress to the more complicated models, which should not be a problem for most users, as most will easily be able to try them out. This is a great feature and was missing in the old FSX system.
The new airports added to the JustSim Spain license in P3Dv4 makes a very nice substitute for the non updated features we have been seeing on the main JustSim website and to top it off, a perfectly detailed custom ground polygon that is actually does the job very well with only minor adjustments to be made.
this is the 7th update to my justsim barcelona lebl. i’ve tried to make the new features more useful to the normal user, but have also included a few new features and fixes. some of them are listed below.
i’ve added the possibility to choose between 4 different types of scenery, this can be done in the setup dialog. besides the barcelona scenery, you can also choose between central europe, mediterranean, sahara and mediterranean – sahara scenery. the 4th one is a combination of the 3rd and the 4th ones. this scenery is great for daytime and night-time flying. the scenery is included in the download.
this is the latest version of the lebl that i have so far put together, based on the information posted on the ea forum. it is based on the barcelona p3d section, but i have used the data from the fsx p3d forum and fsx p3d forums. this is not an exact copy of the fsx p3d barcelona v1.2, i have removed some of the airports from fsx p3d, and added a few more that were missing from fsx.
note: there are a couple of planes that are missing in this version of the lebl, i have included them in a separate download. however, some of the airports are not included in this version. some of these airports have been included in a p3d update and a review.
1. new flight model for the lebl (use the click of the left mouse button to activate switch to new model); 2. new textures of the lebl; 3. lebl is now a short takeoff and landing aircraft with a 2.75m width.
