History

I used to use Matlab to parse some math expressions. One of my ex-colleagues suggested me this component. I’ve never used any of it but I saw something of usefulness in it. So I gave it a try and coded it. It works fine, I think. Just drop it on any.DPR file. If you don’t want to use it, you can see the source code at the project page.
If you like the component, let me know. If you don’t like it, you can’t get any problems. It’s free and open source.

Notes

TMathParser is free, open-source software.
The only thing you have to do is download and install it.
The downloaded file is a ZIP archive.
Extract this ZIP archive and you will see a folder named tmathparser. Inside the folder you will see another folder named unit, which has a file named tmathparser.pas. Drag and drop this file on any.DPR file. That’s all. You are ready to use the component.

What’s New In TMathParser?

The TMathParser component is a Delphi unit that can be used to easily parse mathematical expressions and generate graphs for them. It was designed for use with the TGraph component in the TGraphPro library, and can be used with other components.

Most of the operators are also available in the Free Pascal compiler, to provide a cross-platform way to create mathematical expressions.

Note: The TMathParser component is not complete. It can be extended by providing new operators.
