Fashion Merchandising
At South Florida Fashion Academy, we're committed to providing our students an unparalleled education founded in the fundamentals of fashion merchandising. Beginning as early as sixth grade, while receiving their core education (math, science, reading, writing, history), our creative and bright students will get an introduction to fashion trends, product positioning, fashion marketing, styling, advertising, all while exploring the relationship between marketing and design.
South Florida Fashion Academy students studying fashion merchandising will receive a comprehensive, entry-level understanding of textiles, the fashion Industry, clothing construction, fashion display & styling and visual merchandising. South Florida Fashion Academy’s hands-on curriculum equips students with the core fashion teachings needed to go on and pursue a career in fashion. From fashion illustration to understanding the basics of consumer shopping behavior as it applies to design and market research, our students are equipped with the knowledge and practical experience needed to launch a career in Fashion Merchandising.
