The Fashion Technology Program at South Florida Fashion Academy provides creative students with the opportunity to tour factories that highlight textile, apparel, leather technology, garment / footwear design and much more. Creative fashion design &/or fashion technology students will learn how to take a fashion technology idea from prototype to finished product through experimentation, iteration, and simple coding. Emphasis will be on the technical aspects and the basics of electricity, materials, micro-controllers (small computers), sensors/actuators, and the code that makes these things work together to create expressive projects.
