How to get a list of documents through rest.api in CouchDB?
I’m using the couchDB REST api from an iOS app, and I can’t seem to find a way to return a list of documents.
How do I do that?

You can’t.
If you want to retrieve all documents from a view, you can use this request:
GET /db/view//_design//_view/
but to fetch a list of documents you’ll need some other mechanism. You could use a map function (an index) to map them.
