Innovative Fashion Design Program
South Florida Fashion Academy Middle and high school students at South Florida Fashion Academy can begin studying fashion design as early as sixth grade and start learning the principles to fashion designing through our dual-enrollment program that allows students to learn their core subjects. (math, reading, writing, science) while using their electives to study fashion design. We're committed to providing our creative fashion design students with an unparalleled education that prepares students to launch their fashion design career or continued education right out of high school. Â

Immersing Our Students Into an Ever-Evolving Fashion Landscape
South Florida Fashion Academy students are provided their standard core curriculum education (math, reading, social studies, etc.) as required by Florida’s Department of Education while also studying fashion design as their elective concentration. This includes learning the fundamentals about the fashion industry and getting a comprehensive glimpse into the fashion industry through hands-on learning in our fashion design program. Children as young as 11-years-old are exposed to the world of fashion while learning the essential skills of fashion like design, sewing, marketing, and trend analysis. Our innovative fashion design program also provides SF/FA students mentorships from industry experts and introductions to relevant industry connections both within and beyond our campus, enabling students to become integral participants in the ever-evolving fashion landscape. Through collaborative projects, industry partnerships, and networking events, SF/FA students gain first-hand experience and insights that propel their growth alongside South Florida’s vibrant fashion community. Starting with the traditional practices and understanding the history of fashion design, our fashion design students are prepared to become the next trailblazers and entrepreneurs in the fashion industry.
