Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week Kicks Off This Week (April 7-13, 2025); South Florida Fashion Academy Design Students Join Designers To Get Real-World Runway Experience
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.— Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week (FLL Fashion Week/FLLFW) kicks off this week on April 9th, 2025 through April 13th, 2025 in Aventura to celebrate creativity and fashion from local and international fashion designers while bringing together artists, fashionistas and local tastemakers to celebrate Spring fashion trends and inspiration.
Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week will showcase international and regional designers while emphasizing inclusivity and sustainability via an array of runway shows, parties, and industry events that promise to be exciting, captivating and inspiring. This year’s FLLFW will be centered in Aventura this year at the Hilton® Aventura located at 2885 NE 191st St, Aventura, FL 33180. “We will be delivering an unforgettable week of fashion events that will offer designers, models and fashion lovers the latest trends in Spring fashion and beauty as presented by creatives and designers from around the world and our local region,” said Florentina West, founder of FLLFW.
In addition to hosting fabulous designers, FLLFW is collaborating with South Florida Fashion Academy, the region’s premiere fashion design school for middle and high school students, to help them gain practical experience in the fashion industry. “Our creative fashion design students will be working with designers backstage to coordinate the runway presentation of their latest Spring collections and we’re incredibly excited about this collaboration with FLLFW,” said Taj McGill, founder/creative director of South Florida Fashion Academy located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
