Barber School
At South Florida Fashion Academy, middle and high school students can learn the essential barbering techniques necessary to become a licensed barber in the state of Florida while also receiving their core education in math, reading, writing, science, and history. Through our innovative dual-enrollment programs, students learn how to cut and style hair for both men and women while also learning the fundamentals of hair health and haircare. Located in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, SF/FA dual-enrollment students enrolled in our full-time private school can join the Barber Program and acquire the teachings and experience (600-900 hrs) necessary to pass the Florida state board exams and get certified as a licensed barber. Staffed with experienced barber professionals and instructors, the Barber program at South Florida Fashion Academy prepares students to launch a new barber career and business upon graduating with their high school diploma.
