
Fashion Design
The objective of this program is to teach students the fundamental skills of patternmaking, body measurements, fabric selection, and various sewing techniques in conjunction with an accredited Department of Education post- secondary institution of higher learning. Students will be immersed in the business of fashion while exploring relationships between marketing and design. From concept to production, students learn the process, skills and language of fashion design and technology. South Florida Fashion Academy’s Avant- Garde curriculum prepares students
to focus on basic creative practices, the development of innovative designs, pattern manipulation and garment technology. Once students complete this program an Associate degree in Fashion Design will be awarded.
