The objective of this program is to vigorously prepare students to become Estheticians in conjunction with an accredited Department of Education post- secondary technical school. Students will learn innovative techniques, various genres of makeup, proper safety and sanitation procedures and receive skincare knowledge. South Florida Fashion Academy High School Senior graduates of this program will be prepared for entry- level employment in a spa, resort hotel, film, production, salon, Medi- spa, plastic surgery or dermatological clinic as a Skincare Specialist, or Freelance Makeup Artist. South Florida Fashion Academy’s innovative curriculum also prepares Graduates for entrepreneurship and provides the knowledge to develop a product or brand, operate a successful Skin Care business, and/ or become a mainstream Esthetician upon the successful completion of our dual enrollment program. Once students complete this program a diploma of Skin Care will be awarded and eligibility to take the state board exam will be granted for licensing.
